Mill Tackle

The shop is owned and ran by Sam Wildsmith. Known as ‘Big Sam ‘ he is a well known character within the UK match scene and is the main supplier of bloodworm and joker which he collects from different parts of Europe on a weekly basis.

Angling Trust

The Angling Trust is the representative body for game, coarse and sea anglers in England. There members support the campaigns and legal action carried out to protect fish stocks and programmes to increase the number of anglers fishing for fun and in competitions.


Environment Agency

Are an Executive Non-departmental Public Body responsible to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.


Aldercar Lane Fishery

The lakes are situated at the heart of the fishery with on-site facilities including Maggie’s Den Cafe, overlooking extensive views of Brinsley, Eastwood and Jacksdale.
The lakes attract many different species of wildlife and provide a superb and natural habitat.


Oak Tree Lakes Fishery

A family run fishery comprising of two lakes, Ash pond and Oak Tree lake. A well stocked  mixed fishery varieties include carp, ide, barbel to name a few. A very friendly and pleasant environment to enjoy both pleasure and match angling.


Cotmanhay Young Anglers
